Getting to know your provider

  • Why did you choose your profession?

I’m passionate about fostering mental wellness, promoting self-awareness, and empowering individuals to make meaningful changes in their lives. I find fulfillment in helping people uncover their potential and build healthier relationships—with themselves and others.

  • Why do you work at NOAH?

I was drawn to NOAH’s collaborative approach, where behavioral health is woven into primary care, allowing us to meet patients where they are and provide support that’s accessible, respectful, and culturally responsive. Working here gives me the opportunity to help individuals navigate life’s challenges with dignity and hope, while also mentoring future clinicians in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

  • What are your passions outside of your profession?

Outside of work, I find joy in staying active and exploring the outdoors—whether it’s hiking scenic trails, paddleboarding the local lakes, or dancing the night away with country swing. I’m also committed to animal welfare and have fostered 31 cats and kittens through my volunteer work with rescue organizations. Road trips are another favorite pastime, offering a blend of adventure and discovery.

  • What would you do if you won the lottery?

I wouldn’t quit working—my career gives me purpose. I’d use the opportunity to give back in meaningful ways: donating to causes I care deeply about, especially animal welfare, and fulfilling a dream of building a cat sanctuary where rescued cats can thrive. I’d travel to explore new cultures and perspectives, and I’d dedicate time to mentoring counselors who are new to the profession—sharing insights, offering guidance, and helping them grow with confidence and compassion. For me, it’s about creating impact, not just enjoying success.
