Getting to know your provider

  • Why did you choose your profession?

I chose this profession because I want to be of service to others as they heal, grow, and build lives that feel meaningful and authentic to them. I consider it a privilege to create a supportive space where people can better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and move toward the lives they envision for themselves.

  • Why do you work at NOAH?

I chose NOAH because of its commitment to accessible, whole-person care and its dedication to serving diverse communities. I value the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals while helping ensure that behavioral health support is compassionate, inclusive, and accessible to those who need it.

  • What are your passions outside of your profession?

Outside of my profession, I am passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces where people can gather, connect, and experience a sense of community. I have brought this passion to life by organizing an improv meetup group. I also enjoy musicals, writing and making music, exploring creative projects, and watching entirely too many cat videos on social media.

  • If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do?

If I won the lottery, I would first pay off my debts and provide financial security for my family. I would then invest in creating a community wellness center—a welcoming and affirming space where people could access mental health resources, creative activities, social connection, and opportunities for personal growth.

  • Additional Information

As a Black, queer, and gender-nonconforming counselor, I value the richness that each person’s identity and lived experience bring to the therapeutic relationship. I believe life becomes more meaningful and interesting when we give ourselves—and one another—the freedom to live and express our authentic selves. My goal is to provide a compassionate, collaborative, and affirming space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered.
