Getting to know your provider

  • Why did you choose your profession?

I chose Family Medicine because it allows me to care for the whole person and build long-term relationships with patients and families. I was drawn to its breadth, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and the opportunity to address not only physical health but also the social and emotional factors that impact well-being. Family Medicine provides a meaningful way to serve communities, promote health equity, and make a difference across generations.

  • Why do you work at NOAH?

NOAH’s mission to provide compassionate, accessible, and community-based care deeply resonates with my own values as a physician and educator. Joining NOAH offered an opportunity to help build a residency program that embodies those same principles, one that prepares future family physicians to deliver comprehensive, equitable, and community-centered care.

  • What are your passions outside of your profession?

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three sons, especially through travel and community activities. I am also passionate about mentoring children and youth and participating in neighborhood initiatives that foster unity, service, and the development of healthy, vibrant communities.

  • If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do?

I would use this opportunity to dedicate even more time to volunteer work focused on expanding access to care and education for underserved and refugee populations, and global health service initiatives.
