Tropical Blast Smoothie

If you are feeling the need for something light and refreshing, you picked the right recipe! Packed with nutrients and great flavor, your body will thank you for this creamy tropical concoction.

 1 frozen ripe bananadiced
 1 cup frozen pineapplechopped
 1 ½ cups plain Greek yogurt
 1 ½ cups coconut milk or almond milk
 ½ cup shredded coconut
 1 tbsp chia seeds
 1 tsp tumeric
 1 tsp vanilla extract

Place all ingredients in a blender and blast together until smooth.

Pour and serve.

NOTES: I have been recycling old glass jars with their lids lately just for recipes like this. Simply remove the labels on the jars and give them a good washing. In the morning I’ll make this smoothie right before I leave the house. Then I grab my up-cycled jar and lid, pour in this smoothie goodness and head out to work. This is an awesome smoothie for the kiddos heading off to school too!
