Getting to know your provider

  • Why did you choose your profession?

I originally wanted to be a civil rights attorney, but chose family medicine, as my father suddenly died of a heart attack weeks after I graduated from high school. I chose to be a registered nurse, but on my first day of nursing school I switched to a family nurse practitioner, to help prevent families from going through what mine did. There has never been a second in the past decade that I wish I had chosen a different profession. I absolutely love what I do.

  • Why do you work at NOAH?

I have worked at other FQHCs, that offer some resources that NOAH offers, but not all of them. Offering all these services along with dedicated exceptional staff is what makes a difference in a patient’s life. NOAH’s mission to provide the best, most efficient, care to everyone aligns with mine. I am proud to be part of NOAH.

  • What are your passions outside of your profession?

I enjoy cooking, hitting the farmer’s market, reading, lounging by the pool, independent coffee shops, running, and traveling.

  • If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would you do?

I would donate to organizations that help rescue pups and who assist those who face homelessness.
