The NOAH team approached 2021 with focus, compassion, and a determination to work together to meet the moment. NOAH brought our One Team mentality to improving patient care, organizational growth, and capitalizing on community health opportunities in 2021.
NOAH began 2021 by launching an ambitious COVID-19 vaccine campaign. This all-hands effort was a priority to help NOAH patient populations overcome language barriers, wait times, and technology access. Because of our team’s ability to see the big picture and know how important each person is to the process – regardless of what role they play – we vaccinated tens of thousands of people; people who could finally see loved ones, people who could go back to work safely, people who had lost too many friends and family to the virus, and people who were ready to do their part to help others.
Throughout 2021, NOAH also experienced major growth milestones. We broke ground on the new Desert Mission Health Center in early 2021 and opened our doors to patients in early 2022. The Desert Mission Health Center project is the first health center that NOAH has designed and built from the ground up. In 2021, NOAH also took major steps in our organizational structure by adding new departments, such as strategic planning, patient billing, credentialing, fund development, purchasing, facilities, security, and patient experience.
Meeting the health and wellness needs of our patients is, and always will be, our priority. As we look back on 2021 and all we accomplished and all that we learned along the way, we know NOAH is ready to lead the way into 2022 and beyond with thoughtful, quality, equitable care that continually evolves to meet our patients right where they are today.
