“NOAH gave my family hope when we needed it most.”
In 2008, my family and I relocated to the United States. Without health insurance and access to healthcare, we didn’t know where to turn. We were referred to NOAH-Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health, an organization that focuses on helping all people, even those that are vulnerable. They treated our health care needs, giving my family hope.
In 2010, I wanted to advocate for the great work NOAH does for their patients and chose to become a member of the Board of Directors. Community health centers provide care to everyone, even the under-resourced and under-insured.
“I am thankful for the attention to detail and sincere communication that NOAH has provided. Above all, NOAH offers endless possibilities for improving your health care.”
Maricela and Jose have been patients at Palomino for a number of years. They have always appreciated the attention and care that they receive at NOAH. Last year, Jose was sick and unable to work and provide for their family. After visiting his primary care doctor, Jose was discouraged to learn that the family could not afford the treatment plan for his illness. On Maricela’s request, Jose visited NOAH Palomino Health Center. The NOAH provider developed a treatment plan that created a path for Jose’s recovery. After a few weeks, Jose was able to begin working again.
“They help us make sure we don’t have cavities by taking out the sugar buggies in our mouth!”
Eleni and her 2 brothers have been coming to the NOAH dentist for over 2 years. The dental staff has made such an impact on their family and their quality of life that Eleni creates artwork for NOAH to show her appreciation.
“NOAH has changed my life completely.”
I have been to many doctors and they cannot compare to NOAH. Prior to my hip surgery in September, I developed an ulcer on my foot. The staff at Palomino helped me prepare for my surgery. I am now able to walk! I am very grateful for all the care coordination that NOAH has done and thankful from the bottom of my heart to Palomino Health Center.
