Transforming the Health of Our Community
NOAH began 2020 with the optimism that many people and organizations had for the year ahead. But as we saw the beginnings of the COVID-19 pandemic, we knew our priorities needed to shift, our goals needed to be adjusted, and new strategies were required to meet the wholistic needs of our patients and community. What the year would ask from each of us would take dedication, support, and a collective focus on our mission to provide compassionate, quality healthcare for our community.
Some plans going into 2020 had to be put on hold. Many others had to be reimagined in order to provide a specific service – like dental education for young children, or back to school services. And then came the opportunity to go beyond and meet the ever-changing needs our community and staff were facing.
NOAH launched a psychiatric service line in 2020, which proved to be a welcome service particularly during the challenges 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic brought to people everywhere. Other services emerged, like drive-up COVID testing, and telehealth for medical, dental, behavioral health, and nutrition.
Meeting the health and wellness needs of our patients is, and always will be, our priority. As we look back on 2020 and all we accomplished and all that we learned along the way, we know NOAH is ready to lead the way into 2021 and beyond with thoughtful, quality, equitable care that continually evolves to meet our patients right where they are today.
