Have you ever seen a tow truck on the side of the road? Of course you have! …But have you ever seen a tow truck on the side of the road about to be towed by another tow truck? A bit more rare perhaps. Like any other automobile though, even tow trucks sometimes need to go into the shop for repairs.
Life often gets in the way of living. All of us at one time or another need to pause for an oil change, a tune-up, or even a major engine overhaul. The common problems of life can produce the very painful and even debilitating effects of depression, anxiety, stress or addictive and compulsive behaviors. Like the tow truck, many of us go, go, go—dedicating ourselves fully to our families, friends, jobs or school. But then life happens… job stress or loss, marriage difficulties, parenting challenges, financial concerns, relationship frustrations, serious illnesses or even death. We can easily find ourselves overwhelmed with fear, doubt, bleakness, anger, and ultimately hopelessness. Most often, these intensely difficult feelings lead us into physical or emotional isolation, loneliness, or habits of “escape” which in turn lead to even more misery. All of us either have experienced, or will experience, the despair of being broken down on the side of the road at some point in life.
Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health – NOAH is excited to announce the addition of psychiatric services to 4 of our NOAH locations. Dedicated to offering hope to those having a difficult time dealing with life. The providers at NOAH are both caring and compassionate. We desire to come along side others, offering a “tow” toward new possibilities. NOAH’s peer support staff and psychiatric medication management team are well-trained and devoted to drawing from their own life experiences and education to provide a road map for patient’s success. Together, problems can dissolve and better living can be cultivated.
NOAH’s top priority is to offer exceptional help, and our core values are what set us apart from other similar services.
- Commitment to Excellence. NOAH Psychiatric Providers seek to offer patients the highest quality of emotional support and mental health expertise available. We consider this effort not our “job,” but our moral obligation.
- Compassion. We at NOAH believe that without caring and empathetic relationships, improvements in emotional well-being are nearly impossible. Our patients find unconditional acceptance, regardless of the nature of their life difficulties or their present or past experiences. An atmosphere of compassion facilitates the freedom for one to imagine new and better possibilities for living.
- Collaboration. We greatly desire working in partnership with our patients. Careful and respectful listening combined with efforts to understand the unique challenges of our patients is paramount to successful treatment. At NOAH, healing is a team effort between peers, providers, patients, and other meaningful relationships in the patients’ lives.
- Character. NOAH is committed to maintaining the highest standard of ethical conduct in all its affairs. Our team believes that depth of character is the basis of any good relationship—including that between a provider and a patient. Integrity, trustworthiness, and confidentiality are the backbone of all NOAH services.
Patients can find a much needed “tow” through true wrap-around services at NOAH to include peer support, counseling and medication management services. You will find ease and freedom to privately discuss issues of depression, anxiety, addictive behaviors, grief, parenting, family concerns, guilt, abuse, stress, job concerns, painful pasts, or sexual issues.
