NOAH’s Food Lockers

Approximately 14% of NOAH patients screen positive for food insecurity.

Aligning with our commitment to address food insecurity and promote healthy lifestyle choices, NOAH implemented a new fresh food distribution system at our Cholla Health Center. Funded by Molina Healthcare, a bank of 16 refrigerated lockers allows our food-insecure patients to access healthy produce and other nutritious items with ease and dignity. Farmbox Arizona further supports this project by generously donating and delivering a supply of locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables to fill the lockers. Additionally, shelf-stable food items are made available by St. Mary’s Food Bank to distribute at several NOAH health centers ensuring that our community members have access to essential resources for optimal health.
