Getting to know your provider
Why did you choose your profession?
I had a passion for medicine from a young age! I originally intended to be a veterinarian because of my love for animals, but as I got older and attended college I changed my focus to either medical school or PA school. After speaking with several friends and colleagues during my time at the University of Arizona, I decided to pursue becoming a PA. The versatility of the profession and ability to expand patients’ access to healthcare is what drew me in! I love forming long-lasting relationships with my patients and their entire families as a Family Practice provider!
Why do you work at NOAH?
I enjoy meeting every patient that walks through our doors, hearing their story, and helping out in any way I can. I appreciate the integrated approach to care that NOAH offers, so our patients can not only be treated medically, but also from a behavioral health and nutrition standpoint if needed! I love that NOAH takes into consideration every aspect of a patient’s health, including their access to care and ability to actually implement what their providers or other consultants recommend.
What are your passions outside of your profession?
Spending time with my husband, two pets, and family in the area, hiking, country dancing, reading, and being active in my church.
What the community is saying …
I haven’t enjoyed going to a medical practice more in my life. Superb balance of professionalism and kindness. Just delight in each and every staff member!
This was the best doctor appointment I have had since starting with NOAH! Every single person I dealt with was wonderful! PA Lukas was the most respectful provider I have dealt with at NOAH.
