When working in primary care, I struggled with how hard it was to help my patients get high quality and accessible mental healthcare. So, I decided to go back to school. What I love about mental health is that it is like an invisible puzzle. It requires investigative skills as well and good listening. It was a natural fit for me.

Psychiatry is one piece of the larger puzzle that has to be in balance for us to have a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. At NOAH, we understand and ensure that we treat the whole person even if that means having a larger integrated care team.

My children are most important to me. I also love outdoors and travel.

It would depend on how much I won, but I would invest for my children’s future, help friends and family have financial peace, and take a vacation with my family to Spain for the summer.
