I chose to be a Dietitian because food connects us. And if we eat together we can build relationships and bridge what divides us. Also, nutrition as a science has so much power to heal and provide comfort and joy and I get so excited about sharing that with others.

Outside of work I am an avid tea drinker, enjoy playing video games with my partner, reading science fiction and fantasy books, and playing with my four cats.

If I won the lottery I would buy so much tea. But seriously, I like to think I would do helpful things with the money first, like pay off the homes of my parents and in-laws, or my own home, or put my nephew through college. After that I would love to travel with my partner, visit his family in the Philippines, visit some tea gardens in China, India, and Nepal, and try all kinds of new foods.
